Quarantine at Cairo airport isolates 5 passengers because they do not carry yellow fever certificates

Quarantine authorities at Cairo International Airport on Wednesday removed five passengers immediately after arriving from the Sudanese capital of Khartoum for failing to carry certificates of vaccination against yellow fever .

The quarantine doctors were surprised during the completion of the arrival procedures for the passengers of the Egyptian plane coming from Khartoum, not to carry an Egyptian and 4 Sudanese of different ages to certificates of vaccination against infection.

Dr. Hazem Hussein, Director of Quarantine at Cairo International Airport, ordered the passengers to be taken to the Abassiya Fever Hospital to ensure that they were free from infection. They were already transferred to the hospital under the supervision of Mahmoud Ghunaim, airport supervisor.
