Providing free medical service to 43 thousand citizens through medical convoys in 10 days

The free medical convoys of the state were able to provide medical treatment and provide free treatment to 43,456 citizens, through 35 medical convoys that were implemented at the level of the Republic, during the period from 1 to 10 May.

These convoys, as part of the initiative of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi "Life is Precious", to provide free medical services to citizens in remote areas and deprived of health services.

The caravan was carried out with the participation of 328 clinics. Six thousand and 794 blood, parasites and radiation tests were conducted. 9,232 health education seminars were held to raise awareness among the citizens. 630 cases were referred to hospitals for surgery and issuing decisions by medical councils for treatment at state expense and insurance. Health.

The medical convoys aim to provide hardship to the elderly, children and people with special needs in receiving medical services. Medical examinations were conducted on 1156 citizens in Aswan Governorate, 1344 in Assiut, 3 thousand and 78 in Alexandria, 1262 in Luxor, 1575 in the lake, 6 thousand and 856 in Giza, And 2508 citizens in Dakahlia, and 4 thousand and 526 citizens in the east.

The total number of residents of the city was 1,155, of which 1,885 were in Qalawiya, 2,887 were from Menoufia, 1806 were from Menia, 990 were from the New Valley, 2556 were from Beni Suef, 490 were from South Sinai, 4,236 from Damietta, 655 from Sohag, And 1037 citizens of Qena, and 1878 citizens in Kafr El Sheikh, and finally was a medical examination on 882 citizens of Matrouh.

A number of free medical convoys were launched from May 11 until May 20 in 21 governorates: Kaliobia, Beni Suef, Alexandria, Kafr El Sheikh, Fayoum, Cairo, Dakahlia, Port Said, Beheira, New Valley, North Sinai, Aswan, Giza, Assiut, Matrouh, Menoufia, Damietta, Sharqia, Red Sea, Luxor and Minya. These convoys are part of the concern for poorer areas and villages that are deprived of medical services..

The two convoys continue for two days, and the first five convoys were carried out yesterday in the areas of Safra, Al-Khanka, Qaliubiya, Kom Adrija, Al-Wasta, Beni Suef, Al-Galaa, Al-Amriyah, Alexandria, Khaled Bin Al Waleed, Fayyad governorate, and will be the launch of another medical convoy today in Al Basateen Youth Center Ezbet El Nasr Cairo Governorate.

Five medical convoys will be launched on May 13 and 14 in the areas of Fouda village, Mansoura, Dakahlia, Manasra, West Port Said, Hafs, Damanhour, Beheira, Al-Nahdah, Farafra, Wadi Al-Jadid and Al-Hassana. In addition, two medical convoys will be launched on May 19 and 20 in the areas of Aburmad, Jebel Aaldeh, Halaib – Shalatin Red Sea Governorate, Helwan Youth Center, Cairo Governorate. Finally, six medical convoys will be launched in the areas of Karim El Din, Sherbin, Dakahlia, South Port Said Center, Rashda Dakhla Center New Valley Governorate, Jafjafa Al Hassana Center North Sinai Governorate, Monastery of the Virgin Samalout Center Minya Governorate, and Sea Corner Kom Hamada Center Beheira Governorate.
