Prosecution seeks investigations on the Director of Projects of the Library of Alexandria accused of publishing false news
The Supreme State Security Prosecution requested the competent security authorities at the Ministry of Interior to prepare the necessary investigations of Dr. Khaled Azab, Director of Projects at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The prosecution renewed 15 days in custody pending investigations conducted by the prosecution, accusing him of publishing false news and misuse of social media.
The Prosecution completes the investigation into the charges contained in the minutes of the security investigations, which relate to the publication of false news and the participation of a group established contrary to the provisions of the law in the implementation of its purposes, the charges faced by the prosecution during the investigation in the case before issuing a decision to imprison him for 15 days.
The Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina was arrested earlier, under a judicial order, for arresting him and presenting him to the Public Prosecution about two weeks ago to investigate the charges against him and confront him. The prosecution then issued a decision to hold him in custody pending investigations.
