Prosecution appeals for release of 5 partners of Qaradawi's daughter

The Supreme State Security Prosecution appealed the release of 5 accused of precautionary measures, accusing them of financing terrorism, inciting against the state and spreading false news that would affect the national security of the country and joining a group established contrary to the provisions of the law and the constitution.
The decision to release the defendants from Chamber 15 of the Criminal Court of Cairo, headed by Counselor Shaaban Al-Shami, was issued. The defendants were ordered to release the defendants in case No. 316 of 2017, the security of a higher state known as Al-Qaradawi's daughter-in-law.
The accused were charged with the crimes of joining a group established contrary to the provisions of the law, the purpose of which is to call for the disruption of the provisions of the Constitution and laws and to prevent State institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work.
The prosecution assigned the accused to publish false news about the political and economic situation in the country with the aim of disturbing the general peace within the framework of the terrorist group's objectives and promoting the group's aims aimed at undermining confidence in the Egyptian state and its institutions.
