President of the University of Assiut inspecting the work of examinations in both social service and medicine
Dr. Tarek El-Gammal, President of Assiut University, stressed the necessity of periodic and regular follow-up of the examination work which was recently started in some faculties, stressing the need for the presence of the deans of the colleges and professors concerned with the exam material to answer the students' questions and solve any emergency problem. Conducting examinations with the presence of medical staff inside the committees and ambulances outside in anticipation of any emergency cases.
This came during an inspection tour to the President of the University to check on the committees of the first examinations of the Faculty of Social Work, accompanied by Dr. Shehata Ghareeb, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Dr. Hamdi Abu Mousaed, Dean of the College.
The President of the University praised the discipline and regularity in the committees and the establishment of an atmosphere conducive to facilitating the students to perform their examinations in an easy and easy manner, especially in light of the completion of the adaptation of the upper halls of the examinations and neighbors to hold social service examinations.
Dr. Shehata Gharib added that the university president's tour also included follow-up work on the development and renovation of the rest of the examination halls and the implementation of final finishing works in preparation for receiving the examiners from the other colleges and is scheduled to accommodate about 8 thousand students.
This was followed by the orientation of the President of Assiut University to inspect the second algebra exams in the Faculty of Medicine as well as the postgraduate examinations, in the presence of Dr. Amany Omar, Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs, where she assured the absorptive capacity of the committees and provide ventilation and health lighting inside the committees.
Dr. Shehata Ghareeb, Vice President of Assiut University for Education and Student Affairs, stressed that the support and care of university students is a top priority. Which included in particular the students of the university from overseas students.
This came during the participation of the Vice President of the university for about 500 students from the university. The first day of the group breakfast was organized by the General Administration of Youth Welfare in cooperation with the University Students Union.
Dr. Shehata Gharib explained that the aim of the initiative is to organize mass breakfasts to facilitate the non-university students who are expatriates from the university city during the month of Ramadan, which also coincides with the end of the academic year. It also aims at providing students with opportunities to communicate with students. And the creation of a climate of brotherhood and friendliness among the students of various faculties and among the faculty members and guests of the ceremony of their supporters.
