President of Cairo University Announces 100%
Dr. Mohamed Othman El Khasht, President of Cairo University, announced the increase of 100% in international publishing fees for faculty members in international journals and journals after setting standards for publishing scientific research worldwide.
Al-Khasht stressed the need to increase international publishing funding by 100% in recognition of Egypt's need for scientific research that benefits people and contributes to sustainable development. "The measures we have adopted to support scientific research and international dissemination are the largest package of measures adopted by the university, in the framework of promoting international dissemination among faculty members and benefiting from scientific research in supporting the state's development plans."
The president of Cairo University said that the university administration provides substantial financial support to the colleges to publish their research in international journals, stressing the need to establish an international publishing platform to help colleges, especially faculties of humanities and social sciences, to publish faculty research in English in international journals and journals.
