The head of the New Valley Construction Authority, Major General Ayman Abdel Moneim, announced on Saturday that 93% of the project for the construction of rural houses in the Islamic village of Al-Dakhla at the cost of 100 million pounds.
Abdel Moneim confirmed that the facility is completing the delivery of facilities to 200 rural houses in the village of Qasr, by installing a 16 km long line and two lifting stations to finalize the project after the implementation of the housing units at the end of June 2019.
He added that the project has been implemented on two axes, the first of which is the center of the houses. The second axis, which is currently being completed, remains 7%. The mechanical work of the two pumping stations for the sewage facility remains.
He explained that the project includes the establishment of 200 houses house area of 60 square meters, within the project of the desert villages of the desert implemented by the Central Agency for Reconstruction, and that the aim of the project is to harm the affected citizens who are located inside the archaeological area in the village of the Islamic Palace in Dakhla.
On the other hand, the Directorate of Agriculture in the New Valley Governorate is completing its extension services to farmers at the village level and centers. Several training courses have been held to introduce the methods of service of the Palm, including the curving process, which is one of the important operations of Ras Al-Nakhla and after 6 to 8 weeks Applied at Dakhla Center
Dr. Majd al-Marsa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, said that the process of curving the towers prevents the tangling of the date with the palms and thorns and thus protecting the fruits from injury and physiological defects, which causes a decrease in their marketing value, in which the taste is reduced and linked and thus protected from breakage with the future with increasing volume and weight of fruits.
He added that the process of curving helps to distribute the pregnancy around the perimeter of the head of the palm, which prevents the tendency in any direction and improve the qualities of fruit to expose the fruits of ventilation and sunlight, which increases the quality and improve maturity and facilitate the process of curing and control of the pests that affect the fruits and thus reduce the loss and get a crop As well as facilitating crop harvesting.
