The Cameroon embassy in Cairo, its ambassador Dr. Mohamedou Lebrange and members of the diplomatic mission celebrated on Monday the forty-seventh anniversary of the country's national day.
In his opening speech, Lübing praised Egypt's interest in strengthening the relations between the two countries, as well as the Egyptian-African diplomacy, which the Foreign Ministry, represented by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry, commended on the instructions of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
For his part, Foreign Ministry representative Maher Al-Adawi stressed Egypt's keenness to consolidate relations with Africa, noting that the visit of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi of West Africa several weeks ago confirmed this.
Cameroon has a labor force of about 10 million, most of whom work in agriculture, which accounts for about 51% of exports. Cameroon has three commercial ports used for transporting goods. Cameroonians belong to about 100 Negro tribes that make up 80% of the population, while the rest are from Berber, Arab Shawa and Hamam groups. These groups live in northern Cameroon and condemn Islam through trade and convoys.
