Parliamentary demands to unite the supervision of roads between the provinces

MP Bassam Fleifel, a member of the proposals and complaints committee of the House of Representatives, called for the unification of the road supervision authority, whether external roads between the provinces or the internal roads in the governorates.

He criticized "Fleifel", the existence of more than one hand to supervise the roads and assume responsibility, the General Authority for roads and bridges responsible for the external roads between the provinces, and local units responsible for the internal roads, which affects the effectiveness of roads.

Fleifel said that he is seeking to know the government's plan to develop and raise the efficiency of roads and follow up the maintenance of these roads, and to clarify the foundations and criteria on which to light them, as part of the State's efforts to improve and upgrade the efficiency of old roads and the establishment of a new road network.
