"Parliament Defense": We follow up the procedures for securing the "Nations of Africa" with the concerned parties
Maj. Gen. Kamal Amer, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Committee of the House of Representatives, said that the committee has followed the procedures for securing the African Cup of Nations football, and the stadiums that host their games, especially as it approaches its launch in late June..
He added that the committee listened to the concerned parties to secure the important event hosted by Egypt and its continuous efforts in reviewing the efficiency and preparations of various places, both for training and the establishment of players. He pointed out that the representatives of the armed forces and the Ministry of Interior assured the committee about the insurance procedures.
The head of the National Defense and Security Committee stressed that the Ministry of Youth is reviewing the "stadiums" hosting the matches, as well as the readiness of the other security services to secure the big event in all its aspects, starting from the moment of receiving the teams and the arrival of the players and lodging them in the hotels until they leave the Egyptian lands, Arranging the tournament with maximum security and stability, and conveying an honorable image of Egypt and its people to the whole world through this important continental tournament, and the global attention and follow-up. He continued: "We will follow the events of the championship closely, to see the integrity of the procedures, so as to ensure the face of Egypt's civilization."
