Parliament committees discuss new budget projects, discuss preparations for hosting "African nations"

A number of qualitative committees in the House of Representatives will hold their meetings on Sunday to discuss the budget projects for the year 2019/2020 on various sectors, in addition to a number of important issues, including the National Defense and Security Committee of the House of Representatives, headed by Major General Kamal. The Communications and Information Technology Committee, headed by MP Ahmad Badawi, will discuss the draft plans and budget for the fiscal year 2019/2020 for the Information Technology Industry Development Agency [ITIDA], the National Telecommunications Institute [NTI].

At the second meeting of the committee, the committee will discuss the draft law of the government on "protection of personal data, in conjunction with the offices of constitutional and legislative affairs committees, plan and budget, defense and national security.

For its part, the Human Rights Committee, headed by MP Alaa Abed, will begin consideration of the draft budget of the National Council for Human Rights for the fiscal year 2019/2020 and the draft economic and social development plan of the National Council for Human Rights for the fiscal year 2019/2020.
