Palestinian student calls for Egyptian citizenship

Mohammed Thabet, a lawyer, an attorney for a Palestinian student, filed a lawsuit before the Administrative Court of the State Council, demanding that he be granted Egyptian citizenship.

Law No. 28543 for the year 1973 was issued by the President of the Passports Authority .

The lawsuit said that the applicant is a Palestinian of Egyptian origin from the father's point of view and holds a Bachelor of Commerce. He seeks to obtain Egyptian nationality according to blood standards, but he applied for citizenship but the administration objected to that. .
