Officially: Portuguese Paulo Sergio as technical director of Saudi cooperation

The Saudi Cooperation Club announced today the appointment of Portugal's Paulo Sergio to lead the team from next season in succession to his countryman Pedro Emmanuel, who recently left the team.

The Portuguese coach will sign the contracts within days with Saudi club management after agreeing on all items and financial details, the official page of the Saudi Cooperation Club said on Twitter.

The Portuguese coach has a long track record, having worked for Fujairah, UAE, Vitoria Guimaraes, Sporting Lisbon and Portugal. He also won the Scottish Cup with Hearts, the Romanian Cluj coach and the Saudi agreement.
