Mohammed Salah participates in the African achievement for the first time in the English league
In an event in the Premier League's history, three African players have been awarded the Golden Boot award for the competition.
Egyptian Mohamed Salah, Senegalese Sadeo Mani and Gabuni Obamyang won the Golden Boot as the top scorer in the current Premier League Premier League.
Mohamed Salah scored 22 goals in the current edition of the English Premier League, the same as Senegal's Sadio Mani and Arsenal's Gabouni Obamyang.
This is the second time in a row that Mohammed Salah has been crowned Premier League Premier League scorer after being crowned last year after scoring 32 goals.
The Premiership Regulations provide different versions of the golden shoe for all equal players at the top of the scorers' table, which allowed a joint trophy for the African trio.
Carlos Tevez and Dimitar Berbatov already shared the Golden Boot award for the 2010-2011 season, after two Manchester City and Manchester United at the time scored 20 goals.
Chris Sutton, Deon Dublin, Michael Owen, Triple Blackburn, Coventry City and Liverpool shared the Golden Shoe award for the 1997-98 season after the trio scored 18 goals.
In the 1998-99 season, trio Michael Owen, Dwight Yorke and Jimmy Floyd triumphed Liverpool, Manchester United and Leeds United to the Golden Shoe award, scoring 18 goals.
