Candidates for the Best Player Award in England by the fans

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah emerged from the competition for the English Premier League Player of the Year Award for the 2018-2019 season, choosing the fans.

The official account of the English Professional Players Association announced Friday the names of six candidates, who will compete for the English Premier League Player of the Year award.

The three contenders are three-time Premier League champions Sergio Aguero, Bernardo Silva and Rahim Sterling, alongside Liverpool's Virgil van Dyck, Sadio Mani and Chelsea's Eden Hazzard.

Dutch defender Virgil van Dyck has been crowned the English Premier League Player of the Year award.
