Memish: The crossing of 46 Suez Canal vessels with a load of 3.3 million tons

The Suez Canal witnessed Sunday the passage of 46 vessels carrying 3.3 million ton of container ships from both directions, the head of the Suez Canal Authority announced.
According to a report from the Suez Canal Authority, the northern convoy witnessed 26 vessels with a tonnage of 900,000 tons. The biggest cargo was the container ship flying the flag of the Marshall Islands AL-MASSRAP with a cargo of 156 thousand tons coming from the United Kingdom to China.
Twenty vessels from the south (New Canal), with a tonnage of 1.4 million tons, crossed the border and the largest cargo of the Hong Kong-flagged COSCO NEWSERLANDS, carrying 160,000 tons coming from Singapore to Greece.
