May 22 .. Sentencing 10 members of the Muslim Brotherhood accused of violence in Minya
On Wednesday evening, the military court held in Assiut governorate set the hearing on May 22 to sentence 10 accused members of the Muslim Brotherhood who were involved in violence in Abu Qurqas in Minya Governorate.
The court concluded today hearing hearing defense of 10 accused of storming the police station Abu Qurqas south of Minya province in the case of the return of the proceedings of their trial, after they were arrested after the issuance of life sentences in absentia in the incidents of storming the police station Bougarkas during the events of the Fourth Intifada and Nahdha.
The prosecution has referred 144 defendants, including those who are being tried today, to the judiciary in May 2015. The referral order included the defendants belonging to a banned group, inciting violence and riots and participating in the sabotage of public facilities.
