Learn about national road projects with the government plan for the new year

As part of the government's efforts to develop the transport network at the level of the Republic, whether by upgrading existing roads or creating new ones, it reviewed its plan on national road projects, especially with the development projects for the year 2020/2019.

The national road projects are as follows:

1 – Completion of the first phase of the project

– Benha Road / Alexandria (Sector IV and V)

– Construction of the road of Belbeis / Banha / El Bagour (Sector III and IV).

2 – Projects of the third phase of the national project

– Development of Cairo / Assiut Desert Western Road.

– A hub for connecting the new administrative capital in the governorates of East Delta.

– Double the 6th of October Road / Oasis.

– Expansion and development of Suez / Genifa road with a length of 90 km.

– Completion of the roads of Safaga / Quseir / Marsa Alam road 213 km.

– Expansion and development of the Rafid Jamsa / Mansoura road with a length of 50 km.

– Completion of the double link of Assiut / Sohag / Red Sea 180 km.
