The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has issued a Charter on the Rights and Duties of Telecom Operators in Egypt "Mobile, Fixed and Internet", which contains 11 information about the rights of users and 5 information about their duties. The recommendations concern measures that protect the interests of the user or work to prevent any harmful practices in the ICT sector. Awareness of users, and the seventh day offers the rights and meals of users of communications in 16 information:

Users Rights:

Obtain good service according to NTRA regulations and international standards.

Select the type of service provided and choose the provider and provide a healthy environment for users in accordance with global health standards and standards.

The right to transparently obtain service data from the terms, prices and levels of service performance and not change them unless the user is notified.

Protection from harmful practices that a service provider may have, such as publishing misleading data.

The need for service providers to announce their emergency numbers and complaints.

Compensation in the event of failure and failure to benefit from the service (interruption or poor service).

The right to confidentiality and privacy to maintain user data, including their numbers, to respond to any complaint or inquiry, to notify them of the result and to resort to the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) in case of non-response.

Dispensing the service without any compensation to the service provider.

Get accurate and clear monthly bills and request a detailed invoice at a nominal cost or a free electronic bill.

The right to escalate the complaint to the NTRA if it is not resolved.

The right of persons with special needs to obtain appropriate services.

Duties of users

Failure to deal with unauthorized entities or persons to provide various services and the need to report them.

To inform the NTRA of any violation of the law, such as passing international calls or connecting an illegal sub-line, so as not to fall under the law.

Non-violation of the contractual terms of service

And not to attack the infrastructure used to provide telecommunications services, and to inform the NTRA of stolen lines.

Do not use the mobile phone while driving in order to preserve the life and life of others.
