Know the penalty of those who abstain from filing financial disclosure statements for illicit gain

The Egyptian state, through its regulatory bodies, fights corruption in all its forms and forms within the administrative apparatus of the state, because of its negative effects on society.

The Law on Illegal Profits No. 62 of 1975 stipulates penalties for any person who fails to submit his financial declaration, which includes all the money and property of the author of the declaration.

Article 20 of the Law on Illegal Profits states that "any person who fails to submit financial disclosure in the prescribed time shall be liable to imprisonment and a fine not less than twenty pounds and not exceeding five hundred pounds or either of these two penalties."

The article added that "a penalty of imprisonment or a fine of not less than one hundred pounds and not more than one thousand pounds or either of these two penalties shall be imposed intentionally on false statements."
