The follow-up report on the performance of economic indicators issued by the Ministry of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform showed that five projects were completed in the oil sector during the second quarter of the current fiscal year 18/2019 at a total cost of LE2.35 billion.

The Ministry of Planning data indicated that the five projects were the completion of the construction of three warehouses for the storage of petroleum products, in addition to the construction of a transmission line for these products and the development of the fields of "Afar, Desouk and West Delta".

In a related context, the data for the second quarter of the current fiscal year, as part of the projects completed in a number of sectors of the country, including the education sector, indicated that at a cost of LE 475.8 million, 83 schools were developed and expanded and 1339 new classrooms were built to accommodate 53.6 thousand students.

In the higher education sector, the data showed that, at a cost of LE 52.3 million, 4 university hospitals were developed, in addition to the development of the dialysis unit at Ain Shams University Hospital. The development and modernization of 5 projects was completed, At a total cost of 2.6 billion pounds in the agriculture sector.
