Policy

Within the framework of the Government's plan to develop ports at the level of the Republic in order to increase efficiency during the new year 2019/2020, the General Authority of Alexandria Port continues to complete a number of projects related to the work of the construction and the establishment of new links in addition to mechanization.

The work expected to be implemented during the new year:

1- Construction and development of multi-purpose marine locomotive with a capacity of 80 tons.

2- Supply of pollution control pipes and establishment of 3 metal structures warehouses.

3. Development of the first and sixth zones and rehabilitation of the wave barrier.

4 – Concaving the pavements and completing the construction of links to link the ports of Alexandria and Dekheila on the international coastal road.

5 – Completing the mechanization of travel nuts.

It is worth noting that the Alexandria Port Authority occupies the leading position in the ports of the Arab Republic of Egypt in terms of the volume of trade movement, through which about 60% of Egypt's foreign trade is traded.

The General Authority of Alexandria Port has two ports, namely Alexandria Port, Dekheila Port.
