The Directorate of Health Affairs in the Red Sea, the closure of a restaurant in the city of Ras Ghareb for lack of licenses, as well as the execution of 125 kg of various foods for lack of validity.
Dr. Tamer Mara'i, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the Red Sea, said that sudden inspections were conducted on various restaurants and food-handling places in Ras Ghareb and Safaga during the month of Ramadan to ensure that the food provided to citizens .
The Director of the Directorate of Health in the Red Sea, the campaign resulted in the closure of a restaurant in the city of Garib for lack of authorization, the execution of 125 kg of miscellaneous foods, and the withdrawal of 11 samples and the release of nine minutes of lack of health requirements.
Dr. Nermin Naji, Director General of the Department of Preventive Medicine, Food Control Department and Food Inspectors at the Health Departments of intensive campaigns, visited restaurants and tourist hotels in Ras Ghareb and Safaga.
Where 9 food processing facilities were inspected in the city of Ras Gharib, health requirements were examined, as were transcripts of violations, 28 health certificates were examined.
The five food processing facilities in Safaga were also passed, and 6 records were released for lack of health certificates and lack of health requirements .
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the Red Sea, said that the health of the Red Sea continues its efforts to control the corrupt food, in order to preserve the public health of citizens and protect them from diseases resulting from the consumption of food and drink adulterated and unfit for human use,.
