Guidance for all irrigation devices to raise the maximum degree of readiness for heat resistance
The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation issued directives to all departments and sectors of the ministry to raise the maximum readiness of all its departments in the governorates during the heat wave witnessed by the country since last Tuesday and climaxing today and tomorrow to face any problems or crises likely to affect the management system Water and Irrigation in the Governorates.
Committees were established at the level of general directors, inspectors, engineering managers and engineers. The centers are committed to continuous presence, traffic, monitoring, inspection, status of canals and banks, and follow-up of water levels at main and branch roads, canal ends and drainage and drainage stations to ensure water availability and distribution efficiency for all uses.
Meteorologists predict that the country will be dominated by hot weather on Thursday night all night, and the visibility of the day-to-day impurities on the seafront and Cairo to the north of Upper Egypt, and moderate south-west wind on the northwestern coast.
