Dr. Khaled Al Ameri, the General Captain of Veterinarians, stressed that what the students and graduates of the veterinary schools in Egypt are demanding through their social networking sites, from the government and the decision makers, to reassign them is the most basic of their rights, the right of their profession, Best.

Al Ameri pointed out that the general union of veterinarians, general supervisor, council and all sub-syndicates, with their necks and councils in all governorates of Egypt, share them with this demand and support it.

The head of veterinarians explained that as a result of the suspension of appointments since 1995, there are now only 9 thousand veterinarians appointed now, and within five years from now this number will collapse to only 4000 veterinarians, noting that only 150 veterinarians are concerned with the inspection of Food at the level of Egypt, which is not enough to inspect hotels, tourist villages, human hospitals, and others.

He added that there are only 8 veterinarians in Cairo and 6 veterinarians, which are insufficient numbers to ensure safe food for humans.
