Governor of Qalioubia visits Benha Educational Hospital and development works in the old building

Dr. Alaa Abdel Halim, Governor of Qalioubia, inspected the Benha Educational Hospital to check on the provision of health services and inspected the development works currently underway at the hospital at a cost of LE 260 million. He inspected the reception building and critical cases, which includes the Department of Cardiac Catheterization, Open Heart Surgery, And nerves. "
The new hospital includes 8 examination rooms (internal – children – surgery – a poison reception unit and two observation rooms) as well as an accident and emergency department with 10 beds and a simple operation suite with two operating rooms, a bone room and a 4-bed dormitory.
There are also three operating rooms (general surgery, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery), all operation accessories, and a full intensive care ward with 10 beds and all accessories, as well as a TV room.
For his part, Dr. Al-Ghunaimi, the hospital director, said that the cost of developing the main building of the hospital amounted to 30 million pounds, including the development of reception, women and obstetrics, physiotherapy and urinary tract, as well as the establishment of a nursing school. Amounted to nearly 260 million pounds.
The governor assured the patients' conditions, inspected the different hospital departments, the availability of medicines for the patients, inspected the intensive care units and dialysis, and assured the health of the citizens, and everyone was very happy to visit the governor.
The governor was accompanied by Dr. Hamdy Al-Tabah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdul Aati Al-Ghunaimi, Director General of the Hospital, and Hamdi Salama, President of Banha City.
