Governor of New Valley directed to expand agricultural projects
Major General Mohammed al-Zamlout, Governor of the New Valley, accompanied by Kamal Ibrahim, head of the local unit of Dakhla Center and City, inspected one of the investment projects for the cultivation of vegetables and fruits in the system of greening in West Mout region with a total of 9 agricultural approaches.
Al-Zamalout praised the project and its products, especially that it does not use chemical pesticides in agriculture. He called for the expansion of such projects to achieve self-sufficiency of vegetables and fruits and opening outlets to sell them at lower prices than those in the markets, stressing that this comes within the framework of the state plan to expand the agricultural area On the territory of the province and provide real employment opportunities for its children.
In another context, Major General Mohamed Zamlout, governor of the New Valley, announced that in coordination with the administration of the University of the New Valley will be used the building of the University City for Girls in the purpose of the purpose of housing expatriate students and accommodate the largest number of them, starting from the new academic year.
Al-Zamalout added that a suitable building would be provided as an alternative to the university city to be the administrative headquarters of the university.
