Governor of Monofiya attends the second annual breakfast to honor the pioneers of veterinary medicine

Today, Major General Saeed Abbas, Governor of Menoufia, witnessed the second annual breakfast ceremony to honor the pioneers of veterinary medicine 2019, organized by the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine at Menoufia University Hotel, in the presence of directors of the directorates of veterinary medicine in Menoufia, Qalyubia and Gharbia and deans of veterinary colleges in Sadat and Menoufia .

The ceremony started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. The welcome speech was given by Dr. Sayyid Awad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Veterinary Medicine in Menoufia. A short documentary film showing the role of veterinary medicine and its various activities was presented last year..

The Governor of Menoufia paid tribute to the distinguished veterinarians who made efforts to deal with the skin disease of the sheep and smallpox of the sheep, which led to the second place in the Republic of Egypt in the immunization campaign 2019, stressing that the veterinarians are the source of the development boom and wealth to the country, Livestock is the main food security component of Egypt and needs to be maintained .

At the end of the ceremony, the Governor of Menoufia, the pioneer of veterinary who contributed to the governorate of Menoufia, ranked second in the immunization campaign against nodal skin disease as well as veterinary departments with the highest percentage in immunization at the governorate level .
