Governor of El Gharbeya: Supplying 107,378 tons of wheat to silos and sheep by 79.5%
Major General Hisham Al-Saeed, Governor of Al Gharbia, announced that 107,378 tons of wheat have been supplied to silos, hangar and shun centers and cities of the governorate by 79.5% since the beginning of the supply season on 15 April, .
He added that 116 thousand feddans have been harvested so far from the total cultivated area this year, which is 134 thousand and 936 acres. He pointed out that the capacity of the storage areas in the governorate can accommodate 193 thousand and 340 tons divided into three silos of 85 thousand tons and 10 Shawn cement card 67 A, 700 tons and 8 tons of sand, 28 thousand and 800 tons and 4 tons of 11 thousand and 840 tons.
The governor of Gharbia said that on Tuesday, 1767 tons of wheat were delivered at the Tanta center, 202 tons at Mahalla al-Kubra, 51 tons at Basion and 173 tons at Zefta. 284.5 tons were delivered at Samannoud Center, 137.5 tons at Al-Santah Center, 231 tons at Qutour Center and 259.5 tons. In Kafr El Zayyat with a total of 3106 thousand and 118 tons.
The governor stressed the provision of all the necessary facilities for farmers during the process of supply and provide good logs and the obligation to pay all their dues within 48 hours of the procurement process to provide a competitive environment to attract farmers to supply the largest possible quantity of the crop and exceeded the target this year.
