Governor of Aswan: Supply 44 thousand and 471 tons of wheat for silos and shun

Major General Ahmed Ibrahim, governor of Aswan, announced on Monday the supply of 44 thousand and 471 tons of wheat crop to the silos and Shun province, adding that the process of supplying the crop continues until it is completed this month.

For his part, Eng. Atef Hassan, Director General of Agriculture Directorate in Aswan, said that there is daily follow-up from the Governor of Aswan to the position of supplying the wheat crop, in addition to the implementation of the Governor's ongoing mandate to provide all facilities to farmers to receive all the quantities of wheat from their crop during the harvest season. The quantities supplied in silos and shons included 4280 tons in Aswan and 835 tons in Shouna Kom Ombo, 13 thousand and 308 tons in Edfu town, and 26 thousand and 48 tons in Al-Moufalsa.

The Director-General of Agriculture, said in a press statement on Monday that the current season began from mid-April and continues until the end of May, where it is expected to supply 75 thousand tons of wheat harvested from the area planted with wheat within the province of the province with a total of 56 thousand and 340 acres With an average of 18 Ardab per feddan .
