Governor Matrouh: We fight corruption in the administrative system and around us many files for the prosecution
Major Majdi al-Gharabli, governor of Matrouh, confirmed that Matrouh governorate is witnessing a major operation in the implementation of service projects, re-planning of the streets and raising their efficiency, in addition to the implementation of a comprehensive plan to develop the beaches and tourist services in a civilized way to achieve the greatest benefit from the elements possessed by the governorate, Which has accumulated for many years, and caused the disruption of many projects, and wasting the rights of the state and the province and the citizen in various areas.
The Governor of Matrouh, in a statement to "the seventh day" that the size of corruption pervading the executive apparatus outweigh any perception, which is corruption based on moral corruption in the first place, and caused the waste of public money and the profits of others.
Majdi al-Gharabli added that many files of corruption have been revealed and referred to the judicial and judicial authorities. It is not possible to disclose these files or those involved in them, because they limit the hands of the investigating bodies. We will wait until the facts become clearer so that no one will be punished before his conviction. Administrative corruption and job negligence, caused over the past years, in the waste of many funds on the state and the province, and also affected the services provided to citizens.
The Governor of Matrouh revealed that one sector, such as beaches and services rendered, generated revenues of only LE 6 million last year, while LE 4 million was spent on them. The net return is only LE2 million, which is a very small return, rather than some cafeterias and activities. Masfiah Private, stressing that work will be done to achieve greater benefit from the assets owned by the province, while providing better services and superior to the holidaymakers and people of the province.
