German Development Cooperation Agency: The level of street cleaning in Cairo is improving

"The streets of Cairo are cleaner than they used to be," said Sebastien Wilder, deputy director of the German Development Cooperation Agency. "When he first came to Egypt, his daughter was surprised to dump the street, which is very different at the moment. There is a positive change in the level of hygiene.

He added that the positive change in the cleanliness of the streets supports the tourism file, especially that tourists are always attracted by the green areas, pointing out their support for the state plan in the new and renewable energy portfolio, in light of the efforts exerted by the state. For the stability of this file, which will benefit many files.

The project has been implemented in Egypt in many areas, including 3 projects under development: Urban Development, Urban Development, Which began in 2010, to meet the emerging challenges in Egypt, and the establishment of infrastructure in partnership.

He pointed out that it aims to focus on best practices and adjust the conditions of the surrounding structure with the climatic changes in Greater Cairo, to increase the degrees of heat in those governorates, through several proposals such as the cultivation of roofs of homes, to reduce temperatures.
