Foreign investors account for 30.1% of the total trading on the stock exchange

Non-Arab foreign investors recorded a net sell-off of EGP 90.3 million in the Egyptian Stock Exchange last week, while Arabs recorded net purchases of EGP 63.9 million during the same period, after excluding deals, according to the Egyptian Stock Exchange's weekly report.
Egyptians accounted for 61.9% of total market transactions, while non-Arab foreigners accounted for 30.1% and Arabs at 8% last week, excluding deals.
Non-Arab foreign investors recorded net sales of LE 1.3 billion since the beginning of the year. The Arabs recorded net purchases of LE 27.3 million during the same period, after excluding deals.
The Egyptians accounted for 67.4% of the traded value of the restricted shares since the first year after the exclusion of deals, while foreigners recorded 23.2% and the Arabs scored 9.4%.
