For the first time day and night in one image .. See the line of the shadow of the earth from space

science and technology

NASA has released a detailed picture showing the Earth moving from day to night, and can see a comprehensive view of the planet, as well as the "shadow line" of the Earth, a rare scene where the division between the night and day can be seen with the naked eye.

According to the British daily Daily Mail, this stunning picture was taken by astronaut Christina Hamock Koch on board the International Space Station.

Coch wrote the picture on her own account on Twitter, noting that this view can only be seen from outside the world by astronauts on the International Space Station twice a year.

"Just twice a year," said Koch, "it happens in the orbit of the space station that aligns the shadow line to Earth."

The International Space Station orbits around 220 miles and completes one flight around our planet every 92 minutes, according to NASA, traveling at an astonishing speed of 17,200 miles per hour, allowing astronauts to see up to 15 or 16 sunrise and sunset every day.

Up to tens of thousands of sunsets and sunsets throughout the year, for example, retired American astronaut Scott Kelly observed 10,944,000 suns and suns during his year in space.
