Find out why Liverpool withdrew from De Liechte's deal
LONDON [Reuters] – Liverpool striker Matthias de Liechte has pulled out of the Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam this summer.
The Premier Evening newspaper reported that the first reason for Liverpool's withdrawal from the Battle of De Licht was the value of the high deal, with Ajax asking for 61 million pounds to allow Leach to leave the club.

The newspaper said that Liverpool did not want to bear this financial value of the deal, after the cost of the club's coffers in large amounts in the deal with the Brazilian goalkeeper Alison Bakir and defender Virgil Van Dick, in exchange for close to 150 million Australian.
The second reason is Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp's unwillingness to stop defender Joe Gomez's development. The German coach fears that the signing of Matthias de Licht may cause the Reds to lose ground.
Barcelona is very close to joining Matthias de Leicht in the summer transfer period.
