He pointed out that the return of this program is entirely directed to Saudi companies without any taxes, without the presence of an Egyptian tourism company or the presence of any role of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism in ensuring the quality of services provided to pilgrims or the quality of hotels sold to them, which will lead to more layoffs Of a quarter of a million workers in the religious tourism sector.
Atef Baker Ajlan said that a group of tourism companies and industry experts have put together another vision for the electronic platform and will be presented to the Chamber of Companies, the Egyptian Tourism Portal (E-portal). It includes three main axes: religious tourism and gathering and chasing. This is through total control over spending through the Egyptian tourism companies sector. The establishment of a comprehensive electronic program for Egyptian tourism is supervised by the Chamber of Tourism and Travel Companies under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and all responsible authorities.
The study pointed to the allocation of a section of the portal for Hajj and Umrah through the formation of a committee from the Ministry of Tourism and the membership of the Chairman of the Committee of Religious Tourism in the room and the Chairman of the Committee of e-tourism and representatives of the General Assembly of tourism companies. The functions of this committee should be negotiated with the Ministry of Hajj Saudi Arabia and the Saudi agents and service providers , In codifying the numbers available for Egyptian pilgrims from the beginning of the season to the end.
