FAO delivers 60 production projects to non-able families in Kom Ombo
The Orman, in cooperation with the World Food Organization [FAO], on Monday distributed 60 small production projects to 60 families unable to live in the villages of Kom Ombo center in Aswan governorate, in the presence of leaders of the organization and the society and executive leaders of Aswan.
Major General Mamdouh Shaaban, Director General of the Orman Association, said that the distributed projects represented two payments in the first batch of 30 cattle head, and the second batch was distributed 60 head of cattle, which is distributed to 60 families, providing full nutrition, feed, insurance and vaccination of cattle heads for each case.
In a press release, Major General Mamdouh noted that cooperation with FAO in supporting the underprivileged family is part of the project to improve nutrition and food security targeting youth and women in Egypt organized by the FAO International Foundation.
The Director General of the Association stressed that the cooperation between the Orman and the World Food Organization is aimed at alleviating the burden of the low-income people in the most needy villages by providing micro and small projects for young people and families with care and care.
