Embassy of Yemen: Secretary General of the Egyptian Presidency presents congratulations on the occasion of the National Day of Yemen
The Secretary of the Presidency of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ahmed Ehab, congratulated President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi on the 29th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22, 1990.
This came during his visit to the Yemeni embassy in Cairo today to convey the congratulations of President Al-Sisi to the Yemeni leadership, government and people.
Ahmed Ehab expressed the wishes of President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi to Yemen for the progress and prosperity of the country and to achieve the aspiration of the highness, development, security and stability, affirming Egypt's standing on the side of Yemen and its people and its continued support of the constitutional legitimacy led by His Excellency President Abd Rabo Mansour Hadi.
For his part, Ambassador Mohamed Ali Marm reviewed the developments in the political and field situation in our country, the developments of the implementation of the Stockholm Agreement and the continuation of the coup militias in rejecting its implementation, its practices during the past five months of the agreement and its violations in Hodeidah and other Yemeni areas.
He pointed to the government's position that rejects the unilateral withdrawals carried out by the coup militias in the ports of Hodeidah because they lack the simplest verification and control operations that enabled the militias to carry out their comics and deliver the ports to themselves, stressing that the government was and will continue to achieve comprehensive and just peace according to the three reference points The Gulf Initiative and its executive mandate and the outcomes of the Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference and international resolutions, foremost of which is Resolution 2216.
Ambassador Maram thanked the President of the Republic for the good and kind sentiments of the Egyptian President to the political leadership represented by President Abderbo Mansour Hadi and the Government and people of the Republic of Yemen, appreciating the close and strong relationship between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
