Electricity: No load relief due to high temperatures and reserve 16 thousand megawatts
Engineer Osama Osran, Deputy Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, said that there will be no easing of the day load due to the high temperature rise, stressing that there are reserves in the network up to 16 thousand megawatts.
He added that the "seventh day" that any talk about the use of the National Control Center to ease the load today lies, pointing out that there is regular pumping fuel for power plants in addition to the total capacity of the national network of about 46 thousand megawatts and the maximum load will not exceed 29 Thousand megawatts there is no need to reduce the loads.
Asran appealed to citizens to quickly report any interruption in electricity to speed the repair of technical failures that cause interruption.
