Egypt participates in the 5th Africa Transformational Summit in Rwanda

Egypt will participate in the 5th Africa Transformational Summit which will take place from 14 to 17 May under the theme "Towards the promotion of digital transformation in Africa".

With the participation of more than 4,000 participants and specialists from Heads of State and Government, Commissioners of the United Nations Broadband Commission, a number of ministers concerned and a selection of public and private sector officials, as well as a number of representatives of international organizations, industry leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and creators from youth, civil society and the academic community.

The Summit will discuss a number of topics related to the ICT fields, as well as the Summit of African Smart Leaders, the Smart Africa Summit for Women and a number of plenary sessions on the sidelines of the event.

The first summit of the transformation of Africa was held in the Rwandan capital Kigali in October 2013 under the auspices and presence of the President of Rwanda, during which the initiative was launched Smart Africa, An initiative aimed at using the means of communication and information technology to advance the economic and social development of the African continent and to meet the challenges of sustainable development in the countries of the continent.
