Egypt Air participates in the meetings of the Executive Committee of the African Airlines Association

EgyptAir delegation, headed by pilot Ahmed Adel, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, participated in the meeting of Executive Committee No. 178 of the African Airlines Association hosted by Air Mauritius, which was held in the Republic of Mauritius with the participation of the members of the Board of Directors of the African airlines.

Ahmed Adel said that EgyptAir is contributing significantly to cooperating with the member companies in various magazines and exchanging information on the latest developments in air transport in Africa and the strategic plan for developing and structuring opportunities to enhance its role in the African region and to meet the challenges and competition in industry at the global level.

He also stressed that the role of the Union is central and important within the African continent and that the member airlines of the Union should work together to achieve more mutual cooperation, especially in the areas of air safety, maintenance and training, which are of utmost importance will contribute significantly to the advancement of the air transport industry in the continent As well as to increase the share of African airlines operating in the global market.

The members of the Executive Committee who participated in the meeting voted to approve the proposals submitted by EgyptAir regarding the amendments being amended to the Regulations of the Statutes and the laws relating to Alvra. The member companies of the Union unanimously agreed that the next Executive Committee will be held at its 179th session scheduled for July 30 in Cairo and that EgyptAir will host this important annual event.
