Jihan Kamal, head of the National Center for Educational Research and Development, said that the Center is carrying out field research on the new educational system. She added that during the meeting of the Committee of Education and Scientific Research under the chairmanship of Dr. Sami Hashim to discuss the budget of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education for the financial year 2019/2020, the Center has established the national framework for the Egyptian curriculum in the new system. The head of the National Center for Educational Research and Development, said that the Center has put forward a proposal for the Professional Academy of Teachers, in addition to studies on the criteria for the selection of students and teachers in Japanese schools. For his part, Dr. Sami Hashem, Chairman of the Committee, stressed the serious role of the Center, pointing out that the development of the education sector will rise on the shoulders of the specialized centers, including senior scientists, continuing: "These scientists need to work a strong impetus to the ministry."
