Diaa Rashwan announces increasing annual support for "Arab journalists" to LE 2 million

Diaa Rashwan, chairman of the Egyptian Journalists' Syndicate, announced that the prime minister agreed to lift the annual support of the Arab Journalists Union from 250,000 pounds to 2 million pounds.

Zia Rashwan welcomed the participants in the general meeting of the Union of Arab Journalists in Cairo, adding that the Prime Minister had been consulted on the allocation of permanent and new headquarters, stressing that there would be a suitable headquarters for the Union of Arab Journalists and Occupation.

Diaa Rashwan, chairman of the Journalists' Syndicate, said that he had applied to the president of the Union of Arab Journalists to hold the next conference in Egypt, with the Egyptian union ready to shoulder all costs.
