Diaa Rashwan and the Arab journalists' captains are attending the meeting of the Federation secretariat in Cairo
The meeting of the General Secretariat of the Union of Arab Journalists, headed by Moayad Al-Lami, President of the Federation, started to discuss the report of the activity presented by the Secretary-General Khaled Miri and discuss the financial report submitted by Nasser Abu Bakr.
The General Secretariat of the Union will also discuss during its meeting the agreement on certain points related to the elections of the International Federation of Journalists.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Diaa Rashwan, President of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate, Khaled Mery, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Journalists, Mohamed El Hamady, Chairman of the Council of Journalists Association of the UAE, Al-Bakali, Vice-President of the Federation, and Elias Murad, Assistant Secretary of the Union.
The Arab Journalists 'Union is due to hold a dinner party on Friday evening for the Secretariat and for the Arab journalists' captains participating in the meeting.
