Diaa Abdel Samad was appointed as the technical director of the football team after Alaa Abdel-Al resigned from Zamalek 2-0 on Sunday.

Alaa Abdel-Al made his resignation yesterday after confirming the team's demotion to the second section, stressing that he will not lead the team in the next two games against Ismaili and Egypt, preferring to be satisfied with the period spent in the team and that he will not be able to lead the team in the second section.
