Chamber of Commerce: Children's clothing rejuvenates demand within the market and moves sales
Yasser Al-Shaikh, a member of the clothing division of the Chamber of Commerce, revealed that the sales of clothing are in limited demand during the second half of the current month of Ramadan compared to the previous months, especially for children's clothing. He pointed out that the demand for Eid clothes is relatively limited compared to last year, .
He added that the demand for clothing during the current season as a whole (winter and summer) witnessed a noticeable decline between 30 and 40 percent due to high prices and inflation of prices. Cakes and jealousy adversely affect the market.
He pointed out that the sales of clothing for the winter season was not good in light of the continued stagnation of the market for nearly two years, as a result of the suffering of the market from the state of inflation and imbalance between income and spending for consumers, which affected the purchasing power, pointing out that the conditions of the clothing market Will gradually adjust, if we measure the situation now in the period following the liberalization of the exchange rate.
