The General Authority for Veterinary Services, represented by the directorates of veterinary medicine in the governorates, launched a large campaign on selling and trading veterinary medicines in different governorates to detect any irregularities related to the registration of veterinary drugs or the circulation of prohibited drugs or produced in violation of the Egyptian standard specifications. Close or legalize its conditions in accordance with the requirements specified by the competent authorities.
The Directorate of Veterinary Medicine in cooperation with the police of water bodies launched a campaign in seven provinces, "Qena, East, Minya, Alexandria, Ismailia, Fayoum, Port Said." The campaign passed through the inspection of 58 centers for the sale and circulation of medicines and vaccines in the provinces, Contravenes between work without a license and the presence of expired medicines and the presence of drugs prohibited or anonymous source and the necessary records were made violations.
Dr. Abdel Hakim Mahmoud, Chairman of the General Authority for Veterinary Services, said that the Commission has adopted a number of executive control measures on medicines, vaccines and veterinary preparations to verify vaccines produced by the public or private sector, calibration of vaccines produced, tracking and storage of vaccines, And evaluate the vaccines and their efficiency in the field annually based on the results of monitoring and control, especially in the provinces that are famous for animal production.
