CAIRO: Nine suspects indicted for financing terrorism

The Cairo Criminal Court, held at the Tora Courts Complex, decided on Monday to support the release of 9 defendants accused of financing terrorism in case No. 316 of 2016, accusing the daughter of Qaradawi and others.
The accused face several crimes, including the leadership and joining of the Muslim Brotherhood, which calls for the overthrow of the regime to attack state institutions, to target public institutions for the purpose of overthrowing the state, disrupting public order, endangering the safety and security of society and informing the community of foreign funding. Of its terrorist activities and operations by providing the elements and members of terrorist cells with the necessary funds to purchase weapons and materials used in the manufacture of explosives for use in terrorist operations to destabilize the State.
