Cairo airport raises the readiness of the airstrip to the extreme situation to deal with the heat wave
Cairo International Airport is witnessing intensive preparations on the landing ground to cope with the heat wave in the country, in order to safeguard the safety and security of workers and passengers traveling on the airport.
The sources said that the civil protection department at the airport has raised the state of readiness to the maximum degree, to face the severe heat in the country, while ambulances intensified their presence in the vicinity of the airstrip, in anticipation of any cases of thermal stress among workers, in light of the high temperature.
The sources pointed out that the heat waves experienced by the country throughout the spring or summer, does not affect the movement of air traffic over Cairo airport or other airports, explaining that some winter phenomena only have clear effects on air traffic.
