Arsenal goalkeeper: Mkhtarian not participating in the Eurobalig final "scandal"
LONDON [Reuters] – Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Lino has suspended Henrik Mkhitarian of the European Champions League final for political reasons.
Arsenal's Manchester United midfielder Mohamed Elnni has decided not to take part in the final of the European League with Azerbaijan's Henrik Makhtiarian for Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan for political reasons.

"The fact that Makhtarian is not able to play in the UEFA Cup final is a scandal," the Arsenal goalkeeper said in remarks published by the German magazine Kicker.
"Makhtarian has worked hard throughout the season, and in the end he is banned from playing in this final for political reasons," Lino said during his remarks.
Arsenal are due to meet Chelsea on Wednesday in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, in the final of the European Football League.
Armenian midfielder Henrik Makhitrian was not present in Baku because of concerns about his safety; according to mounting political problems between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
